Scheduling Nightmare

Von got a calendar that we write our monthly schedule on so he knows when Mommy works, when he goes to Beck's house, when he's at Grandma's and so on. The other day I had to work so he went to the calendar and pointed to our family day and told Daddy he wanted it to be that day again.

Map It

Von is always asking where people live and why he can't be there or how far it is from our house to Grandma's. So we went and got a map of the USA and Canada, label it with where we all live so he can see that Nana lives far away that's why we can't go there all the time.

No Alone Time

Cade's first road trip: to Vancouver, BC. First trip to Canada, too! A 6 hours drive from Portland.

Cade is so use to Von being there in the car with him the on the drive home from Vancouver he didn't want to sit by himself so mommy had to sit with him.

Play Time

Cade is really into playing with his toys now. He loves to eat everything! Today he spent an hour in the saucer playing.

I Wont

Von is up at Nana and Papa's for a visit this week. He had been so excited to visit that he told me he didn't want to come back to my house because he wasn't going to miss me. He also, didn't want to put on his clean clothes for the wedding in Vancouver because they were for Nana's house. He refused to even open his backpack of toys during our weekend get away because he was taking them to Nana's house. He just didn't understand why he had to go through the wedding and family stuff when he just wanted to go to Nana's.

Don't Stop

When Von laughs at Cade, Cade will giggle and giggle. He just thinks Von is the funniest person ever.

Rolls over from back to stomach, then gets stuck with his arm extended, palm up

Talks and giggles, loves it when Daddy has him fly like a plane

Soups Up

Cade started eating solids! He loves apple sauce, not so sure about oatmeal. We'll keep to the apples this week. He can't get enough of them.

In My Heart

Grandma was telling Von how Jesus is in Heaven when he corrected her and told her, "He's in your heart, Grandma".

Funny Boy

Von says, "I'm a funny boy, Mom." Cade sure thinks so as Von was twirling around and then falling to the floor causing Cade to laugh and laugh at him.

I Got It

Cade now can focus on his toys and pull them towards his mouth. He like to put everything get can get his fingers on in his mouth.
