Sleep Time

Cade is getting closer to sleeping through the night. He gets up but goes right back to sleep without eating. He does have lots of sad dreams though and will whine in his sleep.

Good Idea

Von's famous phrases right now...

That's a good idea or that's a great idea (this phrase comes from Nana)

What?

You're sharing with me.

Hanging in the Car

Cade love to play with his toys in car. Von use to get in the car and fall asleep but Cade enjoys playing with the toys that hang off his car seat or watching the world go by as we drive.

Let's Eat

Cade is loving to eat solids. He downs apples but also likes peaches, prunes and sweet potatoes. He can't eat fast enough and like having is own spoon to hold. He'll usually rotate spoons with you so he has the one in his mouth.

Spider Bites

Von got his first spider bites. He was attacked. He got 16 bites on one arm and 2 on the other. Then we found 2 on his leg. Nana took him to the doctors but he says they are healing. We have learned we don't hunt spiders with our cool new bug kit. There are some bugs we can play with and other we can't.

Veggie Garden

We have been having much fun growing our veggie garden. Von picked out one of almost everything Farmington Gardens had....zucchini: green and yellow, egg plant, onions, green beans, lettuce, spinach, watermelon, cantaloup, peppers: green and yellow, pumpkin, tomato, cucumber, and broccoli. We also grow sweet potatoes, corn and herbs. Each day we go out and take care of them while searching for ripe veggies. We've loved it!

Lego

Von loves legos. He got into building with Beck and now he saves up his money for new pieces. Yesterday we got a Pirate ship.

Pirates!

I'm a Pirate, you're a Pirate, we are Pirates all. Von is so into playing Pirates right now. His bed is the ship with all his stuff animals and him hunting for the treasure.
