Crawler
Cade officially started crawling on Dec 12th at Grandma's house. He took off and has been on the go since. He is so much happier being able to get around and into whatever Von is playing with.
Barefoot
Cade has never liked shoes on so today when I got a pair on he screamed at me until I took them off.

Ouch!
Cade got his first boo boo. He fall off the bed and got a rug burn on his nose, then fall forward on a box and scratched his nose and chin up.
A Big Wave
Cade started waving. He now waves at everything, the trees, the leaves, everyone. He's got to practice.

He's Mobile...
Or almost! I found Cade standing up in his crib, hanging on to dear life and trying to reach the frog that hangs down.
Overcome Fears
Von has more fears now and so he didn't want to ride some of the ride at Disneyland this year, like the Pirates of the Caribbean. But he did step out and try Splash Mountain. His favorite is still It's a Small World. We rode it as our last ride for the year at Disney. Just as we got into the boats all the Christmas lights come out. What a great way to end our vacation at Disneyland!
Hillbillies
Cade's favorite part of Disneyland was the show "Billy and the Hillbillies". He loves music and was dancing away to the banjo.
Games With Dad
Cade finds it so funny when daddy is holding him, lets go and claps really fast, then catches Cade before his falls.
Chatter Box
My Cade Edward is a chatter box. He loves to talk and tell you all about everything. He also, loves to read to you. Forget reading to him, he can tell you the whole story and some. I love listening to him.
Clap Your Hands
Cade has master clapping his hands and loves to show off his new and improved talent.

Get Me
Grandma was on her way to get Von and Cade today but she had to work first. Von told her to just "come and get me and I will work".
Hot Peppers
So I didn't realize how hot pepper could be. Von has been collecting seeds from our garden as we finish up with harvest so we have them for next year to plant. I had just finish cutting up a hot pepper when Von came over to collect the seeds. When he sealed the envelope his tongue and lips were on fire. We tried everything we could fine on google to stop it....olive oil, lemon juice, milk, a salt paste rinsed off with milk, and then we read alcohol wipes- it finally worked. Von went from crying to saying, "my lips feel funny but I'm not crying because they don't hurt".
Cade Edward- 7 months
Cade loves his food, and the more he eats to feed himself the happier he is. Breakfast can be as much as....oatmeal with pear sauce, peach slice, cheerios, a chunk of banana. If anyone else is eating he needs to be also.
Cade loves Daddy. His favorite person right now. When Daddy gets home from work Cade just lights up with a huge grin on his face. If Daddy does not take come and get him he will watch his every move until he does. Then he cuddles into Daddy's shoulder.
Cade loves his toys. He can play and play for hours. Its even better if Von is playing with him. He just thinks Von is the funniest person.
