Love

Von will sit here and look at Cade and then say, "He loves me. I love him, too."

He's Mine

Von made it very clear to both Grandma and Angel that Cade is not theirs. He said, "Cade can't stay here. He is not Grandma's or Angel's. He is mine, and mommy's, and daddy's. He go to our new house."

Telling Stories

Von came over to sit by Cade last night and read him stories. He had a very caring heart!

In Or Out

When Von leaves the door open I tell him he need to close it because he is letting all the warm air out. The other day when my mom and I were coming in and out of the house packing her car up we left the door open and Von kept shutting it. When I asked him to please leave it open he said, "I can't, you're letting the air in."

Brotherly Love

Von just loves his baby Cade. He has been so good and helping out with him. When he is crying Von will bring him a stuffed animal. He helps with feeding him and he loves to hold him all by his self.

He's SO Cute

Von was looking at Cade yesterday, nose to nose, then turned to me and said, "He's so cute!"

A Big Heart

Von has such a big heart. I haven't been feeling too good during these last few days of my pregnancy. Having carpal tunnel from all the fluid I'm retaining I have pain in my arms, plus my legs are swollen and sore. The other night when I was hurting Von came over and started rubbing my legs and telling me, "It's ok, they'll get better. I rub them."

Daddy's Boy

At age 3 Von can browse his way through the mickey mouse clubhouse website. He loves their games but he can also get so hooked that if it was up to him he would play them all day long.

Ice Cream Sandwiches

I came downstairs yesterday to find Von sitting at the table eating an ice cream sandwich for breakfast.

Daddy's Glasses

Von saw that Daddy didn't take his glasses to work the other day (since he was wearing his contacts). Von was so worried Daddy left them he was all ready to leave and take them to him at work. He didn't quiet understand we didn't need to bring them to him.

Excuse Me

Von and Aunt Becki were burping each other to get ready for having a baby around when Von passed gas. He looked at Grandma and said, "Grandma, I just burped out my bum."

God's Not In There

Von had seen my little Bible by my bed and wanted me to read it to him. After a little while I told him to go get his Bible since mine didn't have any pictures. He and Steve when to find one of his 4 Bibles. Steve found one that has a picture of two boys on the front and is full of verses rather than the one he has with all the stories. So Von looked at it and said, "No, that one doesn't have God in it. I need my other one."

From Me

It was Becki's shower and Von had wrapped the gift we got her so he was so excited for her to open it. When it came time to he was playing with all his friends so we called him over to help. He came out with his police helmet on and his riffle, weaving through everyone to get to Becki.

Counting

Von is really into dot to dots and counting. Yesterday on his drive to California he was connenting his dots...."One, Two, Three, Four.....Oneteen, Twoteen, Threeteen, Fourteen...."

Bird Feeder

Von got his first bird eating from his bird feeder that he and Papa made. He was so excited! He couldn't wait for more to come.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Naked Boy

Von is really into running around naked. The first day he started this I just didn't care enough to fight him to get dress since we weren't going anywhere but at day two it was getting annoying. So Steve told him he had to sit on time out until he got dress before they could play the Wii together. That did the trick.

Such A Strong Will

Von wanted to eat his pancake on the couch but he knows we don't eat anything that can make a sticky mess in the living room. So since I told him he had to eat his breakfast at the table he refused to eat breakfast at all and didn't eat til lunch.

Me and Nana

Getting ready for Nana and Papa to get here we were letting Von know they would be using his room and he would be staying with us in ours. He let us know that he and Nana would be sleeping in his bed and Papa could sleep on the floor. Papa- I guess you lose, Nana wins.

Juli's House

Von and I went to visit Steve at work and bring him a coffee the other day. As we were pulling up he looked around and since it's a car shop it looks like Than's business where he and Juli live above. He says, "Yeah, we're at Juli's house!"

Too Cool For Help

Von had his sunglasses on yesterday when we were outside and I asked him if he wanted me to clean them for him since they looked dirty. He said, "No, I do it". Then rubbed them on his shirt just like Steve and I do to clean ours.

I Be Careful

Von had a cup of water sitting on the couch but he told me not to worry, "I be careful." Then just as he was walking across the room with the cup he dropped in on the floor and looked at me for my reaction. I couldn't help but bust out laughing.

Juli's Chocolate

Von has been very excited that Aunt Juli is making his chocolate, dinosaur birthday cake. He has been talking about it for a week now!

Angel's House

Von was pouting the other day because Angel was coming over to Grandma's house to watch him rather then him going to Angel's house and he just wanted to go play at Angel's.

Please First

Von is learning that when you ask for something you need to say please first. So, he says what he wants and then says, "Please first."

Nana's House

Von was saying his night prayers and when we got to Nana he started crying saying, "I want to go to Nana's house." I told him Nana was coming next month to see him but in return he told me, "I want to play at Nana's first." So Nana hurry up and come see us. Von misses you.

Stubborn Boy

Von is very stubborned and determined to get his way. He took the pillows and throw them off the couch right after I just finished putting them on when cleaning the living room. So I told him to put them back but he told me to do it. So, I let him know we would make our brownies after he put the pillows back on the couch but until them I was going to sit here and watch my show. It took him 20 minutes to finally put the pillows back.

Four?

Von is turning three this month but he let me know yesterday that he didn't want to turn three, he wants to turn four instead.

It's Me

Von was staring at a picture of Steve and his brothers when they were little. He then looked at me and pointed to Uncle Mike saying, "It's me". Even when I tried to tell him it was Uncle Mike he wouldn't listen to it he believes that is him.

Slumber Party

Von had his first slumber party at Beck's house. Portland got a really bad snow storm that shut down the city so we could get over to Beaverton to get him. So he stayed the night with his cousin/best friend's house. Aunt Juli ended there too since she couldn't get home and she said they were tucked in tight with little heads peaking out of the covers when she checked on them.

It's Juli's House

Von and I pulled up to Steve's work but since Uncle Than has a car wash and oil lube store which he and Aunt Juli live above Von thought we were at Juli's house. When he realized we weren't he kept asking to go to Juli's house.

Christmas Day

All's Von wanted for Christmas was Santa's bag full of toys. Christmas morning he got that and he was so excited to open up the presents. Even if it wasn't his present he was excited for other people to open up their gifts. He just loved that everyone got gifts from Santa.

Christmas Excitement

Von went to the mall the other day with Karen, Beck and Beck's Grandma. When they entered the mall and all the chrsitmas decorations were up Von was so excited he was shaking with joy. He gets this from his Grandma.

Thank You, Nana

Von was working on one of the puzzles Nana got him when he was visiting her and he told me "Nana buy this. It's mine. I love Nana."

Daddy Love

When Von asks about Steve during the day and he's at work I tell him he's gone and we miss him and love him. So now Von says to me regularly, "I love you. We all love Daddy. We both love Daddy."

It Not Hard

Von got the game Let's Go Fishin' for Christmas and I was telling him it was hard for me to get the fish. He looks at me and says, "It's not hard for me."

Friday, December 18, 2009

All I Want For Christmas

Alls Von wants for Christmas is Santa's bag full of toys. He doesn't care what toys they are the bag just needs to be full of them he says.

My Picture

I have had a picture of Von on my nightstand since he was born, but with getting ready to move I put it in the pile to pack. Yesterday morning Von comes into my room with the picture tells me he needs it. Then he madly looks at me and says, "No take my picture away" and put it back in its place on my nightstand.

Funny Grandma

My mom said to Von, "I'm such a nice grandma." Von says, "No, you not the nice grandma, you the funny grandma." Later he told her she was the old grandma.

Baby Cade Here

Getting ready to have another boy we talk to Von about Baby Cade lots. The other day when he was asked where Baby Cade was he said, "At home." So I told him no he was in my tummy but he insisted I left him at home this time.

We lost our Baby Jesus in our nativity set and when I told Von I could find him he told me, "Mom, Baby Cade is here." (pointing to my tummy)

I Need That

This morning when I was done with the computer and was putting it away Von looked at me and said, "I needed that." He needed to play Elmo and how could I close it on him.

It's Mom?

Last night when watching Incredibles the little lady who makes the costumes came on to the screen and Von says, "Look, it's Mom."

You Get Better

Von came running towards me with his Mr. Incredible action figure and hit my hand. He hit me so hard it vibrated through me body and I swear I'm going to have a bruise. When I told him that hurt me he said, "That's ok. You get better. You ok."

I Got One

Von and I had a brownie before we went up to pack the upstairs but Von was told no more until after lunch. When we came down to make lunch he asked for a brownie but was told no. So he went over to where he "hide" half of his brownie from earlier and said to me laughing, "I got one!"

Monday, November 30, 2009

Hold You

When Von wants to be held or for you to carry him he says, "I want to hold you."

Thursday, November 26, 2009

Not Nice

As I was doing my hair and it was halfway up so I could straighten the bottom part Von looked at me and said, "Your hair nice." Continuing to finish straightening my hair it was all down now and almost done when Von looked at me in a weird way and said, "Not nice, mom. Not nice." When we went to see Daddy, who said he like my hair, Von said, "No, I like my hair."

Too Smart For His Own Good

Aunt Becki likes so aggravate Von so the other day she called his different names throughout the day. So at then end of the day when she was leaving Von said, "Good-bye Mike."

Tough Guy

Von bend his wrist back and was holding in his cry so hard. He just kept saying, "It's ok. It's ok. It get better." while trying not to cry. Then he tripped on my blanket yesterday and hurt his ankle. I asked if he hurt his foot and he said, "No, you did, but it's ok. It get better."

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

With His Toes

Von picks things up with his toes just like his Grandma and Aunt Becki do.

No Thanks

Von thinks when he says "No Thanks" or "Yes Please" that that is that and he gets it. He doesn't understand yet that sometimes you still have to do something even if you use your manners. But he is good at using them. The other day him and Beck were playing and Beck wanted the toy Von had. Beck asked nicely and Von nicely said, "No Thanks" and continued playing with it. A few minutes later Von gave the toy to Beck so he could play with it.

Thursday, November 12, 2009

I Love You

We come up to Von regularly to give him hugs and say we love him. He's usually in the middle of playing or doing something. So he now comes up to us regularly throughout the day to give us hugs and say he loves us.

Steve Jokes

Von is learning to make up his own jokes like his Daddy does. Von's joke to Nana...You're little, I'm big. Ha ha ha.

Thursday, October 29, 2009

Cuse You

Von says excuse you whenever anyone passes gas even if it was him. He doesn't quite get that it's excuse me. So watch out you might get blamed for something you didn't do.

Good Boy

Von keeps telling Nana that she's a good boy. I think maybe she is telling him this a little too much. What do you think?

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Hard Day

Last Saturday Von spent the day with Grandpa working in the yard getting it ready for the winter and cleaning up the house. When Grandma got home and asked how Von's day was he said, "Hard, it was hard."

I'm Von

If you try to call Von a little boy or a I'll say to him he's my baby he corrects you by saying, "No, I'm Von."

My Mommy

When Von talks about someone it's not mommy or daddy or grandma. It's my mommy, my daddy, my gamma. He calls my Grandma (who we have always called Grandma Angel) my angel. Just like he'll tell us, "I'm your Von."

It's OK

We've always told Von it's ok if he spills something or breaks something we'll just clean it up. Now if you spill or break something he'll run over to you, stick out his hand like you would for stop and he'll say, "It's OK, it's OK. We clean it."

It's Sad

Since I have been so sick with this pregnancy Von will look at me and point to my stomach saying, "Tummy sad." The other day he can to be and told me he needed a drink of water because his tummy was sad like mommy's.

Where The Wild Things Are

Von's favorite book is 'Where the Wild Things are' Grandma and him read if often. His favorite part is when the monsters are telling him not to good. Von will sit there and say, "Don't go, Don't go," in a high pitched voice.

Smart

At school today Steve found Von sitting on the floor reading to two friends, one on each side of him. As he would turn the page he would point and laugh.

Pretty In White

Aunt Becki was trying on wedding dresses and when she had the one of she ended up buying Von looked up at here and told her she was pretty.

Good

Von loves the word good. If he likes what he's eating he'll say, "It's good," as he shakes his head. Yesterday after I put on my makeup he looked at me and said, "Your face is good."

Duh, Mom

I asked Von if he needed to go big potty and he looked at me and said, "It's not poop, Mom, it's just gas. Big gas."

Mickey's House

When we were walking to Down Town Disney Von saw the sign with Mickey and Donald on them hanging from the lamp posts and started running and clapping as he shouted, "It's Mickey's house!"

Too much Grandma?

Grandma had asked Grandpa to water the flowers. Once he finished and sat down on a bench in the back yard. Von came up to him, not knowing he was done, and said to him, "What are you doing? You water the flowers." Grandpa told him he already did and that he had been listening to Grandma too much. Von looked at him and said, "Yes."

Standing

Von now stands when he goes to the bathroom but Grandma didn't know this so when she took him and tried to have him sit down he looked at her and said, "I standing, Gamma, I standing now."

Thursday, September 3, 2009

It's Started

Von was whining last night in almost a yelling whine. Which is one of his rule that we don't whine. So I told him to stop and use his words. What does he do? He stops whining and starts to yell, "Words! Words!" as he walks through the house.

Von and His Daddy

Since I have been sick lately and going to bed early Von and Daddy have been spending lots of time together so when Von wakes up in the mornings he comes to find me in bed and asks, "Where's Daddy" over and over.

No Go

Von was a Grandma Angel's the other day and it was time to go but he just didn't want to so Grandma left him with Grandma Angel while she ran her errands. Later that day when they were at the Fair and it was time to go Von just wasn't ready he kept saying, "No go. Chickens." So he turned around and walked right back to the chickens. His new things is that if he's not ready to go somewhere or to leave he's just not ready and doesn't understand why we must.

What Happen?

Von brought the letter V to my mom but it was upside down so it looked like an A. He was so worried that it was missing the little line in the middle. When my mom turned it around for him so it looked like a V he was so excited and said, "V for me."

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

Von can crack the eggs all by himself and not get any shells in the bowl!

Got Talent

While watching the Sugarland Concert on ABC Von went and got his guiter, sat on the couch, playing and singing along.

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Cowboy

After Von went to the rodeo with Grandma he thinks any person on a horse is a cowboy. This includes a knight on his horse and an indian on his. This morning he was running around the house with his cowboy hat on yelling, "Cowboy".

The Boss

Von thinks he's the boss. He likes to tell all of us where we will be sitting for dinner. The other night Von told us that the extra chairs are for Nana and Papa. So they better hurry and get here, their chairs are waiting.

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

Here He Comes

This morning Von is a train chugging at high speed through the house. Up and down the mountains (couches) he goes. 'Choo, choo', he calls, out of the way.

My Monkey

I'll call Von my monkey because when he doesn't want me to put him down he clings to me like a monkey so I can't put him down.

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

My Baby Has A Big Heart

After tell Von that I missed him, loved him and that he is my favorite in the whole world, he gave me a big hug. He's the best.

A Big Help

I had my eyes dilated the other day and could not see from 930 am to 300 pm so Von made us lunch.

Feed the Birds

Von donated to the birds after watching the show Birds of Prey at the Zoo.

Pretty

Von told me last night that I am pretty and that I have pretty toes. (They aren't even painted right now.) He is so sweet.

Von is 2 1/2 Now

Von at 2 1/2... he has a big heart. He is shy at first meeting people but when we say good-bye he always gives hugs and blows kisses even to those we don't know very well. He shares with us. If we ask for even a bit of his brownie (his favorite snack) he'll split it in half and share. Not to say he doesn't like the word mine. He says that lots but he'll always share with mommy. He helps around the house. He still needs to learn to clean up his toys. He'd rather do the vacuuming and dusting and leave his toys for mommy to do. He also works hard outside especially with Grandpa. He's been helping getting the yard ready for Aunt Juli's wedding. His favorite activity is to run and he always wants you to watch him. It's a good thing we have a loop in our house. Every evening he runs and runs around it. He plays imagination now. He's favorite animal to be is a tiger. He'll jump and climb all over you roaring. He also likes to make you meals with his play-doh. Von is growing into a very caring and loving little boy.

Dr. Von

Grandma told Von she needed to sit down and put her feet up because she had sore on her feet. (They were really just swollen from being on them all day but Von didn't understand that.) So Von goes over and gets her a band aid and puts it on her foot.

Money

So Von and I took the bottles in yesterday. He was a huge help (for the first two minutes) puting the bottles into the machine. When we were all finished we decided to split our profits. Von got his money from the cashier and held on tight all the way to the car. He was very proud of his reward and kept saying "my money" all the way home. When we got home we went up to his room and put in his drawer to keep it safe.

Today Lori gave Von another dollar so he took it up to his room again. When I got up there to say goodnight I asked him where he put it. He showed me in his drawer. He made sure to point them out to me. "One money, two money." Man my kid is smart!

Asleep By Himself

So this morning as I'm getting out of the shower at 5:30 am Von comes out of his bedroom crying for Mommy (it will break your heart). So I throw some pants on and tell him Mommy went to work but I will come lay with you for a bit. He still wants Mommy but he gets back into bed. Well, I try everything to get him to go back to sleep. I sing to him, I play with his hair and cover his eyes (Nana's trick). Nothing is working. The kid is still wide eyed looking at me. So I said "Von, Daddy needs to go get dressed . You can either stay and sleep in here or you can lay in Daddy's bed." He says "here". So I get up and get dressed. Two minutes later I come to check on him and he is out...You're kidding me. I try everything I know and all I have to do is ask him to go to sleep?

So again tonight I try again. We get into pajamas. We say goodnight to Uncle Mike. We go up to bed. He doesn't want to go to sleep. He cries to watch 5 more minutes of the Bee Movie. I give in and we go watch for 3 more minutes before we go back to bed. And again I try everything. Until finally I said "Daddy has to go do a couple things downstairs. Can you stay here and go to sleep?" He nodes his head yes and two minutes later he is sawing logs. Who would have guessed it was that easy!

I Want To Sing

Last night to get Von to go to sleep Daddy and him made up songs. Von's song went like this..."Otto home, Mommy, Daddy home, Nana home." His second song was, "Gator outside, Kitty outside, Cat hiding." So this morning all he wanted to do was to sing. His song was, "Daddy work, Daddy home, Daddy work, Daddy home."

Friday, June 26, 2009

Sing-a-Long

While heading down to Dallas today I was singing aloud as my radio is broken. Then I heard Von begin to sing with me. When I would stop he would stop. When I would start again so would he.

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Where's Daddy?

So this morning Von got a hold of the super glue. He got a little on his finger and wanted it off. I told him I couldn't get it off, we'll have to just let it wear off. So he looked at me at said, "Well, where's Daddy?" Like maybe you, mom, can't do it but daddy can.

We Love Art

Von found some of my art supplies so we had to make a piece with my charcoal. We display all his art work on the wall heading up the stairs.

Coffee Mugs

Von made Daddy a set of coffee mugs for Father's Day. He also made Nana and Papa each one too.

El Bote

We went on the boat the other day but Von is starting to get his fears and he just wasn't sure about it even though he's been on the boat many of times. So we headed for the beach and played in the sand.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Dentist

Von did a great job at the dentist today! He did so good we had to go for ice cream afterwards.

Monday, June 22, 2009

Cocinando

Von esta concinado. (Von is cooking.) He's even reading the directions for Aunt Juli. He points to the box where the directions are and told her he needed water. He's so smart.

Yeah Babe

So I guess Steve and I call each other Babe quite a bit as the other day my mom asked Von if he wanted something and he responded by saying, "Yeah, Babe."

Sunday, June 21, 2009

Honk

Von was pinching everyone's noses and Daddy would make the honking noise to it. Von thought it was so funny. Then he came over and had Daddy pinch his nose. What none of us expected was that when Daddy did pinch Von's nose Von said, "HONK".

Saturday, June 20, 2009

Stop

Von and Daddy were playing tickling each other until Von looked at Steve very seriously in the eyes and said, "stop, stop". It was so funny Steve couldn't stop laughing and continued to get him to do it again.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Dos Abeja

Von caught two bees this summer already! We kept them in a plastic container so we could look at them we wanted to until the container got crushed.

The Best Helper

Von set the table for dinner last night. Our table is one of the really tall ones so he can't see the top from the ground but he can reach if he's on his tip toes. He did such a great job. The forks were placed next to the plates wherever he could reach to get them. But first he had to wipe down the table.

Sunday, June 14, 2009

I'm A Big Boy Now

Von has been potty training! He's gone three days with only one or two accidents and that includes going to the park and the store with big boy underwear on! Thank you, Nana for teaching him. Two days ago he even went poop in the big potty. He was so proud. He look in and said, "It's so big!" We are proud of you Von! Von gets a sticker for everytime he sits on the potty and two if he goes.

Thursday, May 28, 2009

Surprise!

Von got a surprise the other night. We stayed up late for it to arrive and then we had to play on it for a little while. Lots of fun this summer!

I Would Like...

Von pulled up next to Grandma the other day in his car and order a cookie and drink. He even said please. At two he already knows fast food drive thru. Yes, he is American. I know it's sad but true.

Strike You're Out

Von got Mommy out the other night when they were playing Tee Ball in the backyard.

Me and My Angel

Grandma Angel and Von love to have chocolate kisses when they are together. Grandma Angel has them hidden all over the house but Von know just where to find them.

Jump, Jump!

But Von has super powers and can jump twice as high!

Jump

Daddy can jump so high. He can even jump over Uncle Mike while holding Von.

I Want YOU

I want YOU for the Continental Army!

Spider Man

Von got Spider Man pajamas from Nana and he loves them. He goes running through the house, climbing on all the furniture just as if he was the real Spider Man.

Monday, May 18, 2009

La Troka

Von loves trucks right now! Every chance he gets we go outside and dig and dump. He'll ask you by saying, "Dump? Dump?"

Just Hanging Out

Von's just hanging out at the park watching the other kids.

Buttons

Daddy taught Von that it's funny to poke people in the belly button. Not too many people think so, Daddy and Von are really the only ones.

Sleeping In

I woke up Sunday morning to this...

Easter Bunny

Von went to meet the Easter Bunny this year. He was so nice, he gave her a big hug.

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Salt? Yes?

When Nana was visiting us I believe she was trying to get Von on her side with all those chips but sorry Nana Von is a chocolate lover.

It's A Plane

Von loved flying on the plane. He loved watching the planes while we waiting for ours and was so excited to get one. This was his first flight with his own seat so he had to wear the seat belt. We would watch the seat belt light and wait for the Captain to turn it off so we would take ours off. He did so good. He also waved good-bye to Portland. When walking to our next flight one of the cart drivers asked if he wanted a ride. So Von and I got to go for one to our next gate. We went so fast Daddy couldn't keep up with us.

My Mike

As Von and I were walking down the isle at the wedding Von spotted Uncle Mike and pointed to him saying, "Mike". All weekend Von kept asking, "Where did Mike go?" when he wasn't at the house. Then when he would come over he say, "It's Mike." He loves Uncle Mike. Von will go around the house saying my Mike, mine.

Monday, May 4, 2009

All By Myself

When we got off of the plane and were headed down the hall where Nana and Papa were Von was keeping a watch for them. Once he spotted them he pointed, smiled and did a double fisted yes!

Too Easy

Last night Von got in Uncle Mike's chair and wheeled around the house. He was quite good he got all the corners. Then he wheeled to the elevator. He was told he could only use the elevator if he was with Uncle Mike in his chair so he figured since he was in the chair he would get to take a ride on it.

I Know

At school the other day when walking out to the playground Von's teacher told him how happy she was he was there because it was all girls in the morning and they were driving her crazy she needed a boy to come. Von responded by shrugging his shoulders, tilting his head to the side and laughing.

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Boo!

This morning Von wanted to blow bubble's with his automatic dog blowing bubble machine, but it wasn't working and it's too cold to be outside. So I got a bubble bath ready for him. When he got in it he was still mad at me so he refused to like it and every time a bubble would touch him he would wash it off. A few minutes later when he forgot he was mad I found him playing in them. Then he was trying to scare me off by popping out from behind the door.

Saturday, April 25, 2009

No, Kilian

Von has two dogs. One at our house and one at Grandma and Grandpa's house. And they are his buddies. He loves to be outside with them. He'll walk around singing and they just follow him. He lays all over them and bosses them around. He also saves some of his snack for them. They are good friends.

Friday, April 24, 2009

When I was sick with the stomach fly last week Von took such good care of me. I went to bed early and Von come to bed with me with some books. He would read me a book then rub my back or play with my hair. Each time I went to the restroom he would come and sit on the floor next to me. If he thought I needed the bowl he would say, "Where's the bowl, Mommy? Where's the bowl?" He stayed with me the whole night.
